La Toya Jackson said her brother Michael looked "absolutely fabulous" when he was laid to rest last week.
In an interview on ABC television's 20/20 to be broadcast in the US tonight (early tomorrow UK time), she told Barbara Walters that the King of Pop was dressed in white pearl beads and a big gold belt, "like a belt that you win being a boxer.
"His hair was done beautifully, his makeup was done beautifully," she said.
A pair of sunglasses and a white glove were among the items placed in the coffin with him.
Michael Jackson's death on June 25 from a fatal combination of drugs has been labelled a homicide by the coroner's office.
Prosecutors are still investigating, and no charges have been filed. But La Toya Jackson said she blames her brother's death on "any and everybody" who gave him drugs.
"They're doctors!" she said. "This is going against their licence."
She called her brother "special," explaining that "he wasn't God, but he was certainly God-like. He was the closest thing to a god that I knew".
Contrary to earlier reports, Mary J. Blige will not take the stage at the highly anticipated tribute concert for Michael Jackson, which is planned to be held at Schoenbrunn Palace in Vienna on date 26 later this month. Confirming the matter is the R 'n' B singer herself who told MTV News on Thursday, September 10, she won't be able to make it to the affair due to scheduling conflict as she will have to fulfill a contractual obligation in Milan on the same day.
"There's a lot going on at the time - I'm really, really sorry that I'm not gonna be able to be there," Blige said in a statement. " 'Cause why wouldn't I want to do a tribute to Michael Jackson?"
Notwithstanding her absence from the planned tribute, Blige has no hesitation to admit that she looks up to the late King of Pop and considers him as one of her inspirations to pursue a career in music industry. She also recalls the first time she watched his "Thriller" video. "When we didn't have anything and we were in our neighborhood, we were running home cutting school to watch the 'Thriller' video on MTV," she said. "He broke barriers that day and every day since then."
Shortly after Blige uttered her confirmation, Jermaine Jackson held a press conference, during when he insisted the songbird will be at Michael tribute concert. He said Blige will fly from a previously booked engagement in Milan to Vienna in time for her performance.
During the same press conference, Jermaine also claimed Chris Brown, who has denied his involvement in the tribute concert, will still appear at the event. He said only a judge's ruling could prevent Brown, who is on probation, from appearing

Jackson announced Blige and Chris Brown would be among the headliners at a press conference on Tuesday (08Sep09), but both have since insisted they won't be part of the 26 September (09) concert at the Imperial Schonbrunn Palace.Brown's spokesperson has said, "Chris is not confirmed to perform or participate in any capacity for this show," and now Blige's people have followed suit - an aide insists the Family Affair singer will be in Italy and not in Austria on the day of the tribute.
Natalie Cole, Akon and Sister Sledge are also on the bill, according to Jermaine. Meanwhile, promoters are trying to play down reports that the King of Pop's brother is staging the Vienna show against his mother Katherine's wishes. Event organiser George Kindel says, "She will be there with Michael Jackson’s kids".

Janet is expected to open the show on September 13th at Radio City Music Hall. We're sure that it will set the tone for the whole show, which will undoubtedly eulogize Michael Jackson throughout.
Miss Jackson's performance is said to include 20 back-up dancers and sources have told TMZ that some of the rehearsals have lasted 15 hours in a single day!
We were already looking forward to this one (and pulling for the Beasties to win), but now we may have to DVR it to make sure we do not miss the Jackson tribute!
